Couleur Caramel is a natural & organic color line, sustainably designed through respect. In order to be respectful & sustainable, it was determined that the line would need to be of high quality, while respecting the environment, people and skin care.
In January 2003, David Reccole and Cédric Ferréol started with a concept. The concept was to create a business, which would constantly re-invent the ways of doing business, by being as sustainable as possible. Being from the professional make up industry, they felt it was time for a company to produce high quality products using natural & organic ingredients, environmentally friendly packaging and ethical business practices with affordable prices; thus creating a balance in accordance with sustainable development.
Their ultimate ambition is to change the world, by offering each person the ability to make responsible choices regarding their consumer needs. Consumers have a choice and they can make a difference without having to spend fortunes.
Today, Couleur Caramel has become the leading make up line sold in Salons and Spas throughout France. They have achieved this by offering their customers the opportunity to partner in conveying their message to consumers.
Recently, they have gone international and have partnered with people in countries all over the world. In the United States, we created a company called Natural Cosmetics Limited to offer the Salon, Spa and Organic boutique markets the same opportunities as the French.
In late 2008 Couleur Caramel launched it’s new Skin Care line to compliment it’s color line. Once again the founders have found a completely new way of making a difference in the market, by reducing waste by at least four and offering a certified organic solution to skin care. In early 2009, the majority of the color line will also be certified organic by the ECOCERT, the internationally renowned certifying body for organic products.
